    Overview of the  FAEA Scholarship Scholarship Program

    FAEA Scholarship Application 2023-2024

    FAEA Scholarship Program is accepting applications for undergraduate scholarships for the academic years 2023–2024 in the fields of arts, business, science, medicine, engineering, and other technical and professional disciplines at any Indian university, institution, or college.

    Eligibility for FAEA Scholarship Program

    i. Indian students who graduated from Class XII under a recognized board
    ii. Undergraduate first-year students.
    iii. Students whose Class XII results have not yet been released must apply after the results have been released.
    iv. Students who come from socioeconomically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

    Aims of the Scholarship

    Following the selection of a student for the FAEA scholarship, the organization offers financial assistance for the completion of undergraduate coursework, including tuition, a maintenance allowance for lodging and meals, and other allowances for the cost of travel, clothing, and textbooks in accordance with our standards. However, the  FAEA Scholarship Program continuation and value are dependent on financial eligibility and strong academic performance.

    Important Reminder

    i. After completing the online application form successfully, you will receive a 9-digit “Confirmation Code” that is automatically produced. This code should be written down for any future interaction with the FAEA Scholarship Program.
    Please do not provide any documents or certificates at this point in the application process. You will be instructed to attend an interview and provide the original documents if your name is called out in the first round of selection. Failure to show up for the interview and provide the original paperwork will disqualify you from receiving the FAEA Scholarship Program.
    iii. Applications that are incomplete won’t be taken into account.
    iv. Please send an email to inquiry@faeaindia.org if you have any questions about the online application of the FAEA Scholarship Program. Please be aware that no other forms of communication, including telephone, will be accepted.

    References

    Candidates should pick at least one of the two people listed as choices who they know very well and who can vouch for both their academic and professional abilities and work qualities. There must be at least one referee from a recognized academic organization. If you are selected to appear for the interview, FAEA will write to the referees immediately.

    Policy Directives

    Study location: This scholarship program is set up so that recipients may attend any Indian college, university, or other educational institution that best suits their needs.

    Duration and Related Consideration

    FAEA Scholarships may be awarded for a maximum of five years, taking into account the duration and other factors. According to the Scholar’s success and the FAEA’s funding availability, all awards must be renewed annually. Students must enroll in a formal degree program and study full-time.

    Financial assistance

    It is the responsibility of FAEA Scholars to notify the FAEA office of any additional grants, scholarships, or financial aid they have obtained for their study program. This information may be used to negotiate award amounts. The BHEL-FAEA Scholarships may be withdrawn for failure to report additional financial assistance or scholarships.

    Deferment

    One deferment of FAEA Scholarship Program (postponement) is allowed for a maximum of one year. For personal reasons, such as a major sickness in the fellow’s family or own, or unfavorable circumstances in the scholar’s home state, a request for a postponement may be filed. Requests for deferment must be made in writing to the FAEA office in New Delhi and include supporting materials or proof.

    Successful progress

    Successful advancement is anticipated of FAEA scholarship recipients in terms of academic excellence and coursework accomplishment. Results from the host college, university, or institution must be sent annually to the FAEA office. Fellows will also need to submit progress reports on a regular basis.

    Disbursement of Funds

    With the exception of tuition, hostel fees, and related costs, which will be paid directly to the educational institution, money will be issued to Scholars. It is expected of applicants to utilize on-campus accommodation and meal plans whenever available.

    Award Amount

    These are established by FAEA to guarantee adherence to financial restrictions. Final awards may fully fund suggested study plans for up to five years and are totally at the FAEA’s discretion.

    Travel

    The candidate will be given second class transportation for one round trip to the interview location and back to their hometown or village. Female candidates will also receive payment for one companion.

    Selection Method

    Interviews with shortlisted candidates will be held in major cities across India. The final decision will then be made by a national panel, and the outcomes will be announced. The candidate must be accepted by the host university, institution, or college before the support is awarded.

    NOTE: Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be taken into consideration.

    Retraction of Awards

    (1) Failing to maintain good academic progress is one reason for potential revocation or termination. (2) Suffering from a physical or mental condition that makes it impossible for the student to continue their course of study. (3) Finding any false statements made by the student.
